These terms govern the use of the GetThatJob platform, including how we safeguard candidate data and handle payments. Please review them carefully before using the service.

Our Agreement

Terms of Service

GetThatJob (“we”) operates a hiring platform that connects job seekers, hiring managers, and coaching partners. By accessing the site, creating an account, or purchasing subscriptions you agree to these legally binding conditions.

  • You must be over 18, provide accurate information, and keep credentials confidential.
  • Content you upload (resumes, assessments, messages) remains yours, but you grant us a license to host and process it solely to deliver platform features.
  • Employers agree to use insights ethically, comply with employment laws, and avoid discriminatory screening.
  • We may suspend access for misuse, security risks, non‑payment, or violations of community standards.
  • Once a subscription billing period has begun it must run until the period ends; cancellations submitted mid cycle simply prevent the next renewal.

Acceptable Use
No scraping, reverse engineering, spam messaging, AI output laundering, or uploading malicious code.
Service Changes
Features may evolve; material changes will be announced via email or in-app notices at least 15 days prior.

Privacy Promise

Privacy Policy

We collect only the information required to deliver personalized job matching, interview preparation, and employer analytics. We never sell candidate profiles and we contractually require subprocessors to meet or exceed our standards.

Data We Collect

  • Account basics: name, email, authentication tokens, billing data when you subscribe.
  • Career insights: resumes, portfolios, skill tags, interview answers, application statuses.
  • Usage analytics: device info, IP address, session logs, cookie identifiers for security and performance.

How We Use It

  • Matching algorithms, recruiter dashboards, and AI recommendations tailored to your goals.
  • Service communications, security monitoring, troubleshooting, and aggregated reporting.
  • Compliance with applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA) and fraud prevention.

Your Controls

Access, export, correct, or delete your data anytime by emailing privacy@getthatjob.pro.

Subprocessors

We share limited data with vetted infrastructure partners (Hetzner, Paddle, Brevo) under DPAs.

Retention

Profile data is retained for active accounts; closed accounts are purged within 90 days unless legally required.

Cookies & Tracking

We use first-party analytics cookies to understand product usage and authenticate sessions. You can manage preferences in your browser; disabling cookies may limit personalized functionality.

Billing Confidence

Refund Policy

Refunds follow Paddle's minimum 14-day policy. Only active subscriptions cancelled with at least 14 days before the next renewal are eligible; there are no credits tied to uptime or usage adjustments—clarity comes from predictable rules.

Subscription Refunds

  • Refund requests are honored only when cancellation happens at least 14 days before the upcoming renewal date, complying with Paddle's Buyer Terms. Submit the request to support@getthatjob.pro.
  • After a billing period starts the subscription can only be cancelled effective at the end of that period; there are no mid cycle pauses or partial refunds.
  • When the 14-day window has passed, the subscription remains active until the paid term ends and will not renew once cancelled.
  • Enterprise agreements and coaching packages follow their order forms and are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

How to Cancel

  • Visit your Billing settings, downgrade to the free tier, and note the renewal date shown in-app so you can cancel at least 14 days in advance of the renewal.
  • Paddle processes all payments, so approved refunds return to the original payment source (card, PayPal, or bank) within five business days.
  • Include your account email, invoice number, and cancellation timestamp when contacting us so we can verify eligibility quickly.

Need to File a Claim?

Email billing@getthatjob.pro with your account email, invoice number, and a clear summary of the issue. We respond within one business day and keep you updated until resolution.

Dispute Resolution

Good-faith partnership

Most issues are resolved through our support team. If a dispute remains, parties agree to confidential binding arbitration in Wilmington, Delaware under AAA rules. Class actions and jury trials are waived to keep matters efficient.
